Ensuring Continuity of Care in a Digital World
Professional Will Consultation
The Foundation of Your Plan
A professional will is an ethical necessity, but it can be a daunting task to start. We guide you through the process, helping you designate an executor and outline exactly how your practice should be handled.
Customized Planning: Tailored to your specific state laws and license requirements.
Digital Practice Audit: Identification of all EHRs, billing platforms, and telepsychology tools that require a "handoff."
Ready-to-Use Drafts: Receive a comprehensive professional will template that you can finalize and share with your colleagues and loved ones.
Professional Executor Services
Professional Management When It Matters Most
Choosing a spouse or a grieving colleague as your executor can lead to ethical lapses and emotional burnout. As your Professional Executor, Dr. Jamie Brass acts as the point of contact to ensure your practice is closed with clinical dignity.
Client Notifications: We handle the sensitive task of informing your current clients and providing appropriate referrals.
Business Dissolution: We manage the "shutdown" of your professional accounts, from your EHR subscription to your business phone line.
Ethical Distance: We provide a professional buffer, ensuring your family isn't burdened with clinical or administrative crises.
Mental Health Records Retention & Management
Long-Term Compliance & Peace of Mind
Your responsibility to maintain records continues long after you stop seeing clients. We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant record storage and management services.
Record Locator Directory: We maintain a searchable directory so former clients or authorized third parties can locate their records years later.
Fulfillment Services: We handle incoming record requests, ensuring PHI is released only according to legal and ethical standards.
Interjurisdictional Compliance: Specialized support for practitioners operating under compacts.
Closing a modern practice involves more than just archiving paper files. It requires navigating EHR Practice Closure, managing digital subscriptions, and complying with regulations in the states in which you practice. We offer three primary tiers of service designed to take the technical and ethical weight off your shoulders.
Transparent Fees. No Hidden Costs.
Our Pricing:
We believe in a straightforward fee structure that respects your practice’s bottom line. Unlike insurance-style models that charge a monthly fee for years, we use a transparent flat-fee system.
Consultation: $200
Active Management/Retention: $3,000+ (Includes refundable deposits for services that may never be required).
Why a deposit? This ensures that if we are called to act as your executor, the funds are already set aside to care for your clients and your family. If the services are never used, a portion of the deposit is returned.
Don't Leave Your Practice Closure to Chance.
Whether you are 20 years from retirement or planning your final exit, the best time to build your safety net is now. Let’s ensure your clients are cared for and your family is protected.
