Behind Every Practice is a Legacy Worth Protecting.
Meet Dr. Jamie Brass — A psychologist partner in practice continuity planning for the modern era.
From a Last-Minute Lesson to a Professional Mission.
Early in her career, Dr. Jamie Brass was organizing an educational series for fellow psychologists when the scheduled presenter had an unexpected emergency. At the last minute, Jamie had to step in and teach the room about professional wills and closing a private practice.
That moment sparked a realization: while every therapist understands their ethical duty to their clients, few have the time or specialized support to build a truly resilient "Plan B." She saw a gap in the field—a need for a boutique service that understands the clinical nuances of a solo practice, the complexities of EHR Practice Closure, and the deep emotional weight of legacy protection.
Professional Will Management, LLC was founded to bridge that gap, offering mental health professionals a steady hand to help them navigate their most sensitive administrative responsibilities.
Meet Becky Ablad, LCSW - An LCSW partner in practice continuity planning for the modern era.
Partnering to ensure your
legacy is protected
Becky Ablad, LCSW was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and has been working as a licensed therapist since 2016. Throughout her career, she has worked across a wide range of mental health settings including inpatient and outpatient care, hospitals, community mental health centers, and in private practice. Across each of these environments, she observed a common challenge: widespread misunderstanding about a therapist's responsibilities for client records and professional obligations after leaving practice.
Recognizing the need for greater education and support in this area, Becky developed a passion for helping mental health professionals navigate medical records management and professional wills with confidence. She is committed to promoting ethical, practical, and legally sound best practices within the mental health profession. Her goal is to help clinicians prepare for the future, protect their clients, and ensure they have the systems and plans in place to support a successful and responsible transition whenever they step away from practice.
